Monday, 5/7/07-Second Round Chemo to start today

With the irritated esophagus improving , I'm able to resume eating/ drinking pretty well and no longer require IV nourishment.

So the Second Round of Chemo is scheduled to start today.

Believe they will be in Two-3 hour treatments on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of this week.
Then another week for the Chemo 'to do it's thing' against the remaining Leukemia Cells before the blood count numbers begin to increase in the 3rd week.

Hopefully my body will be able to tolerate the Chemo as well this time as the initial 24/7 treatment with no surprising side effects.

Enjoy the sunny Spring time weather.

Hi Bob! At first it seemed strange to me that someone who was always so strong with your running could have Leukemia. That strength you maintained from running is probably a lot of what keeps you going. We are thinking about you as you progress toward the bone marrow transplant. Before long, you will be back to being the "Running Realtor"! Rob Burton

Hi Bob,
I'm afraid I've been neglectful in communicating with you. But you have been in my thoughts and prayers. What an awful ordeal to go through. I know your sunny dispoistion will see you through.
I've always loved the phrase that "if He sees you to it - He will see you through it." And he will. Just know that all your old Century 21 Realty Group buddies miss you and think of you fondly and hope you will be better very soon. My best to your family as well. Dixie Roe

Bob: You know you are constantly in my thoughts and I try to keep Ross Hubbard in the loop too. Please know that we are both here for you if there is anything at all we can do. I really miss collaborating with you on new real estate changes!!!! I miss hearing about your goals and accomplishments in your running. I know you've set a goal to beat this and I believe you have a better chance than anyone else I know.

Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
